Chain link fence, also called hurricane fence or diamond-mesh fence, is woven steel wire in a diamond pattern. The mesh stays open, so the line beyond the fence remains visible. It is used for yards, playgrounds, sports fields, parks, factories, and construction boundaries. Heights run from 1.6 ft to 20 ft, with a choice of gauge and mesh size.
